so there we were- repacking wheel bearings and changing tires in the Motel 6 parking lot. our bearings took on a little water while running the creek trial, and being that we were over 600 miles from home, we decided to repack. it was pretty warm out, about 20 F. compared to the previous day's -6 F that was WARM. and the highways were very snow covered in michigan on our way home, so we needed the snow tires.
